Sick and tired of working for the man, Larry Pierce (El Presidente) opened Garage Company Customs in July 06. Larry grew up in Birmingham Al, riding dirt bikes and racing cars. After giving college a stab, he came full circle back to what he loves – bikes. Garage Co. Customs, located in Pelham Al, can do everything from full service to customs builds, and all the motor and machine work in between.
Their bikes have a vintage old-school feel, steering clear of any easter egg paint or neon lights. The motorcycles are as different as the customers that buy them, no cookie-cutter shit here. They range from American V Twin to Jap and British. Larry’s main goal when opening the shop, other than eating, was to build kick ass bikes and parts that real people with real jobs could afford.
All this hard work is done by Larry and Spenser Thomason. Spenser is the shops fab guy and the resident photographer. After making it through one of the toughest years for the motorcycle industry in recent times, Larry Pierce and Garage Company Customs are ready to make a name for themselves.
